Government Community Cloud (GCC)

Office 365 GCC is the Commercial Microsoft 365 on which organizations everywhere rely, but with enhanced security and compliance features, including U.S.-stored data and restricted access (only screened Microsoft personnel can access your organization’s customer content).

GCC High

One of two Azure Government cloud options, GCC High comes with all of the standard Commercial Microsoft 365 features but with even more advanced security capabilities, making it the ideal cloud environment for agencies working with highly confidential information.

In addition to possessing comprehensive compliance certifications, GCC High (and DoD) does not grant Office 365 staff standing access to customer content. Staff must undergo screenings and background checks to receive temporary access.

Department of Defense (DoD)

Also falling under the Azure Government umbrella, The DoD cloud environment includes all of the security and compliance features of GCC High. However, as the name suggests, the DoD environment is only available for DoD agencies and cannot be purchased by other organizations to ensure the utmost security.
