We cover the cost of our services to remediate a cybersecurity incident, with limitations defined below.
The Corsica Service Guarantee applies to our award-winning Corsica SecureSM offering, a unique combination of managed IT and managed cyber security services offered exclusively by Corsica Technologies. It covers the Corsica Technologies services for containment, eradication, and recovery following a cybersecurity incident—at no additional cost to you.
If a system covered by your Corsica Secure plan is infected with ransomware, you are covered for up to $100,000 for the cost of our services to remediate the situation.
If a business email account or system is compromised, and the breach results in invoice fraud, you are covered for up to $100,000 for the cost of our services to remediate the breach.
If you are in full compliance with applicable regulation, yet you experience a breach and then receive a regulatory fine, you are covered for up to $100,000 of our services to remediate the breach that resulted in the fine.
If your business experiences a loss of revenue due to a qualified cybersecurity incident, you are covered for up to $50,000 of our services to remediate the breach that created the revenue loss, with a deductible of $2,500.
If you are sued for damages resulting from a cybersecurity incident, you are covered for up to $250,000 in our team’s billable services to remediate the breach that resulted in the suit.
Corsica Secure subscription required: Your organization must have an active subscription to Corsica Secure, our integrated package for cybersecurity and managed IT services.
Data encryption required: You must encrypt applicable data (for example, protected health information) as required by law.
You must be in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations: Your organization must be in IT compliance with all applicable regulation. For example, if HIPAA applies to your organization, all your employees must have completed up-to-date HIPAA security awareness training before the time of the breach.
Your patches must be up-to-date on all systems and applications: You must be up-to-date on patches for all systems, devices, and applications covered by your Corsica Secure agreement.
You must have an automated backup system in place (with offline repository): You must have a fully automated process in place that makes backups of all essential systems and data covered by your Corsica Secure agreement, and this process must store backups in an offline (or immutable) repository.
