Corsica Technologies, an area provider for business IT solutions and home based computer services, today announced it has acquired Talbot Computer Plus. The new Easton office is to be Corsica’s fourth in addition to those in Centreville, Annapolis, and Kent Island. As a local provider, Corsica Technologies has been providing computer based services and products to area businesses since 2003. Corsica Technologies also maintains a residential support team to assist home computer users with service and repairs either at your home or at one of their many area service centers. Additional capabilities include web design and product sales to include Microsoft, HP, Symantec, Apple, and more. “Corsica seemed to be the best fit for the future of Talbot Computers,” said Dave Gordon, former owner of Talbot Computers Plus. “The techs are excited about the change and are looking forward to working with the team at Corsica Tech. I feel that having worked with these guys that I’m leaving the operation in good hands.” In addition to taking over the day to day operation of Talbot Computers Plus, Corsica Technologies will be conveniently relocating the existing office from Teal drive (behind Walmart) to 8627 Ocean Gateway in Easton (next to Easton’s Bay Tree Storage, Remax Gold, and 1st Mariner Bank offices on Rt. 50). Service Center walk-in hours will be adjusted to now be Monday thru Friday, 9a-6p and Saturdays by appointment. “We are all very excited about the opportunity to provide even better support to our existing Easton customers in addition to providing continued support to those already being service by TCP,” said Dale Walls, President of Corsica Technologies. “This definitely makes for a great way to start off the New Year.” Corsica Technologies, a service-disabled veteran owned company, maintains offices in Centreville, Annapolis, Kent Island, and Easton.
